An article about Palazzo Mocenigo. The property dates from the late 16th century (1579) and was built for the Mocenigo family when Alvise Mocenigo was elected Doge. In the early 19th century it was the Venice residence of Lord Byron. The property last changed hands in 1929 and has been in family ownership since then.
