The three buildings differ in style having been constructed in different architectural periods. The first, Palazzo Trevisan Cappello, was erected in the late 15th century in the Gothic period and was acquired at the end of the following century by Francesco I Medici, for his lover, Bianca Capello. The second, Palazzo Morosini was built in the 16th century by the family of the Doge Morosini, and the third, Palazzo Foscarini, with its refined façade was built between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries in the classical style.

In the 19th century these palaces became the focal point of the famous Pauly glassworks, and although there is no production there now, the palace retains a strong link with these world famous glass designers.

THE APARTMENTS
